"Walls" was the first Precious Death song and the model for that unique sound. An absolute killer live from the groups first performances in 1991 that included Larry Farkas from Vengeance Rising. The group wrote it together with Andy on point and Chris bringing lyrics and vocals. Chris brought in "Force Fed from previous work, the only Precious Death song from before band came together in 1990. Chris wrote "Depth Of My Soul" with Dave and Andy bringing in the break down and lead section. Then Andy wrote "I Will" with Roger which was another live killer. Recorded in 90' and then released on analogue cassette tape only in 1991 it still lives as a mosh pit crusher after all these years. Some people think it has the most live Precious Death feel of any of their records. If you were there for the shows on the Sunset strip you know what I'm saying.

Chris was still working out his songwriting style at this point and wanted to be Bruce Dickinson or Rob Halford when he grew up. It gets a little screamy in there but hey, it was the 80s.

He and Breck Smith had worked together in Knightfall out of Las Vegas in 1985 with Mike Champeau, Jay Moore and Derrick Lynch. Chris had to stand outside the bars till it was his time to sing and they would throw him out after the sets because he was still a teenager. It was cold out there. Breck was a phenomenal bass player and got the call to play for Imepellitteri.

It was a year or so later when they met Kimo Kalani out of Musician's Institute in Hollywood (who is still one of the best guitarists in Los Angeles). They used to go to a thing called "KNAC nights" at the Red Onion restaurants for those crazy guitar solo contests of the 80s.. and Kimo would win against some of L.A. best players.

The group headed to Salt Lake City for the recording with the powerful Bryant Watson on the drums (who is still a full time rock musician in Salt Lake). He carries a band with an absolute presence.

The record was effective in setting up their future in the L.A. music scene. Kimo and Chris worked for the studios in Hollywood and with many notorious L.A. bands.

Kimo Kalani (guitars), Breck Smith (bass), Bryant Watson (drums) and Christopher Scott
